Isolation The display places these wearable items in a different context, apart from the body, much like a museum exhibits artefacts. It is impersonal in many ways. There is the suggestion of an absent body, as if the items laid out constitutes one costume. The circular piece sits across the space, at a distance from the rest of the work. The space between the objects is activated. This work is filled with handwriting that only I can know in a poetic form. The writings that were written in the form of a diary are reinterpreted as an object. The relationship between writing and objects is one of connection and intimacy.
